Jane’s Walk International Festival
Jane’s Walk is a movement of free, citizen-led walking tours inspired by Jane Jacobs.
The walks get people to tell stories about their communities, explore their cities, and connect with neighbours.
Since 2007, thousands of walks take place in more than one hundred cities around the world during the first weekend of May.
For the first time, in 2015 Jane’s Walk will take place also in Rome and Viterbo, Italy.
In Rome, the 2015 Edition has been organized in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome, Interazioni Urbane and the Biennial of Public Space.
In Viterbo, the walk “Il balletto sul marciapiede” will be organized by Cantieri d’Arte public art project.
